a world of purity that has no rules at all.
Is Tantra Pure?
No One Can Serve Two Masters
Tantra has become one of the most misunderstood words in the English language. Walk into a Western “Tantra” class and you might find anything from breathwork and meditation to erotic massage and “sacred sexuality” workshops that would make traditional Tantric masters weep – or laugh. The word has been hijacked by commercial interests and diluted beyond recognition.
In its original context, Tantra is a vast philosophical and spiritual system – a technology for liberation that encompasses meditation, mantra, yantra (sacred geometry), ritual worship, energy work, and profound metaphysical teachings. It emerged alongside the Vedic tradition and shares its ultimate goal: moksha, or spiritual liberation.
There is no single “Tantra.” The paths range from highly rarefied (White Path) to deeply risqué (Red Path), from solo practices to partnered rituals. What unites them is the intention: transformation through awareness, not indulgence. A pure form of red tantra is rare.
Tantra includes both Left and Right Hand approaches. The Left Hand Path works with desire and embodiment as vehicles for transformation – not transcending the body, but transmuting its energies. The Right Hand Path favors renunciation and transcendence. Both lead to liberation when practiced with integrity. Both paths have their very slippery slopes.
Much commercial neo-tantra practiced today for a fee is not what Christ and Krishna would recognize – built on rationalisations behind “happy endings” and the tantalize of “more.” The spiritual word “Tantra” is often used as a veneer for intrigue, mystery, and legal protection.
Tantric touch is meant to be presence made physical – slow, intentional, and reverent. It’s the same quality Christ demonstrated in healing the sick, the same devotional presence Krishna embodied in divine play. Pure tantric touch honors the body as sacred temple, free from lust and rooted in devotion. It awakens without grasping, serves without taking, and when given with pure intention, can release stored trauma, open the heart, and reconnect us to our essential aliveness. Ultimately, it evaporates into atmic essence.

The Right-Hand Path
Transcendence through renunciation – stepping away from worldly desires to realize the eternal Self. The path of the Vedas and classical yoga.
The Left-Hand Path
Working with desire and embodiment as transformation. Transmuting worldly energies into spiritual realization. Requires discernment.
My work bridges both paths. That’s the art. Integration of sexuality with spirituality, trauma release, somatic relaxation, along with Vedantic and Gnostic wisdom, in the name of God, Source, Truth ~ whatever name you use, that serves purity and liberation.
Which path you walk matters less than whether it serves “your” freedom, which is “our” freedom.
Six Tantric Paths
From East to West, these paths have evolved
over thousands of years.
Each carries its own wisdom…
♠The Rose Path
A midway point between White and Red, possibly birthed on Maui in the 80’s. Partners play ‘on the edges’ – slowing down, breathing, opening hearts. Sacred healing massage while practicing to move energy upward. No sex of any kind. A safer approach for those wishing to explore with a partner while maintaining energetic integrity.
♠The Red Path
The most commonly known — and misunderstood. This is the path of sexual Tantra between committed partners. It involves ritual, breath, eye-gazing, and conscious lovemaking. It is never casual. It is never transactional. It is a sacred container for transformation through union.
♠The Shadow Path
A modern therapeutic integration of Tantric principles with shadow work and trauma healing. It honors the body’s stored pain and uses breathwork, somatic release, and compassionate touch to liberate frozen energy. It does not require a partner and is often the most appropriate starting point for Western seekers.
Solo and highly spiritual, this path attracts natural celibates, mystics, and deep meditators. It may include subtle energetic healing touch, yoga, dance, and devotional expression. Arousal is rare — if present, it is re-channeled upward. Any creative expression of a slow, devotional state that is somatic and not sexual at all.
♠The Black Path
The most advanced and dangerous path. It works with shadow, death, ego dissolution, and the forbidden. It is not about indulgence — it is about facing what terrifies us. Most who claim to walk this path are simply acting out trauma. True Black Path practitioners are rare, disciplined, and usually silent about their work.
♠The Indigo Path
The most advanced and dangerous path. It works with shadow, death, ego dissolution, and the forbidden. It is not about indulgence – it is about facing what terrifies us. Most who claim to walk this path are simply acting out trauma. True Black Path practitioners are rare, disciplined, and usually silent about their work.
One last note about Tantra and the many myths that have grown up around it. There are celibate saints who are fully Tantric. There are also sacred Geisha women who are in right relationship with God. This is touched upon in certain scriptures, East and West. Don’t ever be fooled by appearances.

Things are never quite as they seem at the end of the age of Kali Yuga.
It’s best to refrain from judging others; instead, be a student of life,
have quality associations, and learn what is right and pure for you.
