Are the Vedas a religion?
The Vedas are not a religion – science has it that they predate organized religion by over a millennia, representing humanity’s earliest recorded exploration of spiritual truth. Emerging from an oral tradition stretching back thousands of years before written history, they are the oldest spiritual texts known to humanity. Before doctrines, before temples, before “religion” as we know it, they contain universal truths about consciousness, the nature of reality, and the path to liberation that transcends any single faith tradition. How about THAT?

How does this apply to bodywork?
Vedic wisdom teaches that the body is like a temple – a container for consciousness – though even the container is made up only of consciousness. It’s one thing to grasp this in your head, and a whole other reality to fully walk this talk in everyday life. Healing touch becomes a sacred practice when the body is seen as separate yet non-different from spirit. With a pure heart, the body is honored as spirit made manifest..

How are the Vedas and Right Hand Path different from Tantra?
The Vedic path traditionally emphasizes transcendence – rising above the instinctive world of desires to realize pure consciousness. Tantra, particularly, its Left Hand expressions, works through the material world, using the body and its energies as tools for awakening. Both paths lead to the same summit. They simply take different routes, and have different challenges.

What is Vedic touch?
Unlike purely physical massage, Vedic touch engages the subtle energy body and the soul. Vedic touch carries the quality of pure presence – reverent, adoring, aligned with cosmic order. It recognizes the divine nature in every cell and approaches the body as sacred ground, allowing all that doesn’t match to arise and transmute naturally.
